I need help I don't know where to turn. was created by Fayelouise
Hi everyone, I first applied for pip in 2020 and got awarded standard on both, before my review was due this year, last April I wrote to them and told them things were getting worse than they were before with my mobility and I'm struggling woth as yet u diagnosed ADHD/autism I'm waiting for an assessment this can take up to 3 years
Anyway they wrote back and took the mobility off me although I can now only walk woth a crutch/stick, before I wasn't using one which is why I declared change in circumstances I have many many ailments all of which are quite serious yet I'm being constantly gas lit and lied about, I don't know where to turn I know its just come back from MR and they've kept the decision the same I want to take it to tribunal but I need hell with it, this is so stressful and literally causing me sleepless nights hope you're all OK x

Hi Fayelouise,

I’m really sorry you’re going through such a tough time.

When you have been talking to DWP and when you have written to them have you made clear how your various ailments are affecting your every day life.

In particular, when you told them about the change requiring you to use walking aids, did you also repeat everything that you told them regarding mobility from the successful submission?
Unfortunately you cannot rely on DWP looking at previous documentation and thus you need to repeat everything again.

If you are minded to go to tribunal then you may be able to get help from Citizen’s Advive or maybe an Autism charity.

Before you go tribunal you should probably compete another PIP claim form even though you won’t send it off as it will a useful document for you to have at the tribunal.

Are you able to compare the successful response scoring against the recent DWP response? If you are then this will show where you points differed and may guide you as to what the DWP thinking was.

You may want to take a look at the guide here

All the best
Pete
