PIP/ADP awards and ESA reassessment

PIP/ADP awards and ESA reassessment was created by Times Table
I'm in the ESA Support Group and also receive ADP (having been transferred over from PIP). My ADP is now being reviewed (which I'm finding very stressful).

If, following my ADP review, my ADP award changes in any respect - e.g. I lose the awards I have for one or both elements of ADP (daily living, mobility) OR awards I have at the 'Enhanced' level are downgraded to 'Standard' - will that trigger a review of my ESA?

Thanks in advance for any assistance anyone can offer.

Hi Times Table

A review of one benefit should never automatically trigger a review of another. However, some people do find their review forms coming out at a similar time, but this is just unlucky.

Thanks BIS. Just to clarify: my query is regarding whether a downgrading of my ADP might cause the DWP, once they hear of the change, to want to look at my ESA again - ? (Apologies all, I'm not sure if I'd put that across clearly in my initial post).

Hi Times Table

The systems at the DWP are not that sophisticated, and many claimants have had their PIP downgraded, but it had no impact on their ESA. It shouldn't because they are two different types of benefit, awarded for different reasons. I don't expect it to be any different for the ADP.
