Mandatory Reconsideration Timescales / Rough Guidance

Hi all

Just looking for a bit of advice, I submitted a mandatory reconsideration for PIP on 18 Jan 2023, I received text confirmation that it was being looked at and that "As a guide you should hear from us within 8 weeks". I then received a text update on 2 Feb 2023 saying "We expect to look at your case by 15/03/2023. You do not need to contact us unless your circumstances change. Thank you"

The 15/03 has now passed and I've heard nothing. I'm going to contact them in a couple of days to chase it up. Is there any advice on how to approach the call or anything I should say or push on to move it forward?

Any advice appreciated.

Thanks

Just ring the PIP Helpline and ask for an update on your MR, you will not be speaking to anyone involved your MR so you don't need to worry about how to "approach" the call.
