Old Tribunal and Present Reconsideration

My friend who has severe mental and physical conditions applied three years ago for PIP, her case went to Tribunal and she was awarded both components (sorry don't know the the actual award was for). From a reading of the Tribunal report they certainly seemed to knock back a number of PIP's decisions and did seem to accept that her conditions were permanent

Her MR is coming up quite soon and I'm wondering what weight the Benefits People lend to previous Tribunal results. Is this something she should insist on talking about?

Hi Kah22

I would certainly use the previous Tribunal decision, and she can include a copy of the decision along with her MR letter.
