PIP AWARD REVIEW was created by janette chapman
Are there any advice or guidance sheets for completing an Award Review on the grounds of worsening health conditions previously awarded years ago and still being awarded. Each activity asks 1. Tell us when something has changed and when 2. how you manage this activity now, including the use of any aids that you need and 3. Changes to the help you need or get from another person.

Do you include what was previously claimed for and the aids used then so that the review incldes all upto date. information as most of the claim will be an increased need with more aids? The guidance on the form relates to what has changed. Do I assume that issues and aids previously awarded on would be read alongside the review?

Your help or guidance would be much appreciated as I don't want to make assumptions but I don't know anyone who has completed this document and it has to be back within the next few days.

Hi Janette

I don't know whether you have used your real name on here, but if you have, then you ought to go back into your account and change it, as anyone on the internet can see the forum.

Have you looked at the Guide to PIP claims and reviews - from page 129 on how to complete the review form? benefitsandwork.co.uk/guides-for-claimants/pip

When they receive your form, they should look at it against any previous information. However, I would never assume that this happens so. Personally, I would talk briefly about the past and what has changed and include any aids that you used previously and ones you use now.
