Just a message to say that I received a phone call out of the blue from a Decision Maker at PIP this morning regarding the Re-Assessment I had asked for. She said that she wanted to make the award over the phone now if possible. Asked me a few security details and then went on to "back check" some of the information(answers) I had put on the form and had a chat about how things are for me day to day. She then said there will be no need for her to forward my form to a Health Professional and she remarked on how concise my form was and the accompanying up to date evidence. I was awarded Enhanced Rate Daily Care and Enhanced Rate Mobility from the date on my form for an "ongoing" period. I was receiving Standard rate Daily care previously. Any Back payment would be made and a letter to explain all the above would be sent to me which should be received in the next 7 Days. Many thanks to all the Benefits and Work Team and answering any questions I had, and the advice given, and also for use of the Guides that helped me through the "Minefield". Rob.
Many, many congratulations on your improved award - enhanced for an ongoing period for both parts. Great news. So glad you only had to deal with a short phone call. (I'm not disregarding all the work you had to do to get the form back!) Glad you found the guides and help useful.
