A orientation aid is specialist designed to assist disabled people to follow a route safely. Do you know what aid that PIP assessment will recognise? It’s for someone with ADHD and autism.
I’m thinking, can “Brain in Hand” be seen as an orientation aid. Do you know any websites or resources etc that states this?
There is no list of specific orientation aids they will recognise because there is such a wide variety of aids that people use. It's up to the claimant to argue that they need a specific aid and then whether the DWP accepts it. I would give a link to the website. Otherwise, the person reading the claim may never have heard of it or understand the benefits or shortcomings os using it.
