Uprating letter from DLA - some news

I am on DLA and have not received the uprating letter for 2023/24.

I haven't received mine either and today is 11th of April!

I phoned DWP on 6th of March to enquire about the uprating letter (as usually it is received around end of February) and was told that they were late and letters will be send at the end of March.
I asked for a proof letter as I needed to renew my disabled badge. They sent it and I received it within 5 days.

Still waiting for the uprating letter though

Hello guys,

I phoned DWP this morning and after an almost 50 minutes on hold, I finally talked to someone. Yay!

The uprating letter from DLA is very late this year (and the person I talked to did not know why) and it seems that many people are calling to enquire.

Anyway, in my case, my uprating letter is going to be sent today (12th of April) so it should be with me next week at some point.
I thought I should let you know as it is the first time they are so late sending letters (in my case anyway).

Hopefully many of us will have our uprating letter before the end of April!
