Contribution of Income based ESA

Contribution of Income based ESA was created by Sdaniel
I am unclear whether I am on CB ESA or IR ESA. And wonder how I can find out?
I was originally on Incapacity Benefit until having to apply for ESA and was placed in the Support Group.
I believe I am on contributory because it says at the top of one page of a recent letter:
“The payment of ESA is based on your National Insurance Contribution records and any additional amount the law says you need to live on.”
However further down the page it shows my total weekly amount as “your income- related amount”.
This important as I my financial circumstances will change with an inheritance which takes me out eligibility for any means-tested benefits. So I know I will lose severely disabled premium and the disability income guarantee, but will I lose the whole lot. There seems to be a lot of confusion around this.

If you were migrated from IB to ESA then you are on Contribution ESA and as you mention a Premium, you also receive an Income Related ESA top-up.
The ESA(IR) will be affected by the inheritance, if your total household assets and savings exceed £6000 then your ESA(IR) will be reduced by £1/week for every £250 in excess.
If the total exceeds £16,000 then you lose any entitlement to ESA(IR).
Your ESA(CB) is not affected by your savings and assets and will continue in payment.

So, even though it says on my latest letter:
Your income related amount is £*** less total income of £0.00
It is still contribution-based.
I could send in a redacted copy of the letter, but not sure if I can add ttachments?
