Further to my earlier question .I think i stated that i was awarded full PIP for an ongoing period in 2013 ? Sorry that should be from 2016 and I think that means a light touch review sometime after 2026 . So to reiterate I am now worried that i will be forced onto UC after 2026 and possibly lose my Support Group ( ESA] status as per today’s scary news?
When placed in the Support Group DWP wrote to me saying that I would not be asked to attend anymore WCA unless my health improved . ( it never has and never will )
Any idea what may happen to me please? It is so confusing.

We can't tell you or anybody else what is going to happen to them at this stage because, despite the announcements, the picture remains unclear and any changes will require legislation. I know it's not easy, but I would try not to worry about something that has yet to happen and it's so unclear who is going to be affected by this.

Oh, when a persons ‘ongoing ‘ award comes up for review at the end of the ten years as mine will in 2026 , is it then treated as a ‘new claim’ ? Or will it just be reviewed and hopefully continued ? ( nothing has changed for me health or needs wise etc)

On-Going awards will be subject to a "Light Touch review" but we are still several months away from the first PIP claimants with this award reaching the ten years so we have no idea what this review might consist of.
