PIP waiting times for review was created by robby
Hi, i received and filled in a PIP review form last September and they had it returned to them some weeks later and i have heard nothing from them since then. Just wondering if anyone knows whats going on? I am now into month eight and have been asked to do nothing, but wait. Are they so overwhelmed? Thanks. Rob.

I'm afraid there are considerable waiting times in the PIP review process, some members have reported waits of up to 18 months.

All I can suggest is your contacting the DWP, they can tell you whether your file is still with them or whether it has been passed to an Assessment Provider. If the first, then it does not mean that it won't be forwarded to an AP.

Also they can confirm that your current award is being, or will be, extended and for how long.
