Is it worth sending the LCWRA report with my PIP 2 form this month, would it be supportive in anyway?

You can but there are limited areas of overlap so I would first understand where it might be a benefit, there is a comparison on both sets of Descriptors in the PIP area.

Hi, Gordon and thanks for your reply.
The questions on both forms do have similarities so overlap in areas of questioning.
I was looking more towards the irony of being awarded one be efit in this case the higher rate of award LCWRA and not awarded PIP 2 when I present the forms this month.
Would PIP know that I've just been awarded LCWRA ? Do the Departments communicate ?
Would the assessor at PIP who scores my claim think carefully on how he/she approach my application knowing not giving similar award would be cause of MR and future Tribunal, with the Pip claim.

Hi Ferret whiperer

The PIP department will be aware of other benefits you are on. I'm sure there are times when one department may have the need to communicate with another, but more likely about administrative matters. T

he PIP assessor will be from IAS or Capita and that person has no interest in what you have been awarded elsewhere. Their job is simply to see whether you meet the specific PIP criteria, and the issue of a possible MR or Tribunal will not be on their radar.

I think all the mods know people that have been placed in the LCWRA, but have been denied PIP and the other way around. Although there are plenty of claimants who get both, having one has never been a guarantee of the other simply because they are looking at different things.
