So I've been on universal credit and on limited work capability since last year .

I've started to recieve pip a month or so ago

I recieved a call from universal credit and they have told me they are reviewing my claim.

I need to send my ID and all my bank statements.

Is this normal? Are they looking at my spending or what is it ?

I am guessing that you did an online application and were never asked for any identification papers.

The DWP are tightening up on this. It's not about how you spend your money but they may be checking that your savings and assets do not exceed the limits.
