The fight is over for now ?

Never give up ..every step since 2005 Iv had to fight for my PIP Iv obviously aged more now and gotten worse and diagnosed with fibro 2017 prev was CFS 2006 and botched ankle replacement 2010. my last review 2019 I lost money from Mobility and the anxiety (prev to that I had had to go to upper tribunal to get enhanced mobility got them on error of law) ...It seems weird and wrong to celebrate being ill and having it finally acknowledged by a for once kind caring Capita assessor and the DWP , who rang me yesterday to say that my award has gone in my favour and because I had notified them on my review form I had change which had only just happened in the January 2022 (forms sent back for FEB 4th 2022) and they had a letter of consultant confirming this I was also getting it backdated to January 2022, the DWP gentleman was so so so kind and tied a few loose ends up.. I am still shell shocked my only question to him was for how long was my award ...he said as there may possibly be some improvement in MH it is for 3 years , (that will do me) I stated I was terrified it was going to be next year, I was a mess on the phone my son was with me. Im still shell shocked ... I cant help but think that recording it properly and letting them know we had the recording professionally transcribed when I sent in further evidence after assessment and how thorough the HP was knowing it was recorded this helped I may be wrong , he stated that they are doing more light touches over phone etc I FEEL FOR ONCE I CAN BREATHE SOMEWHAT Iv been so ill waiting on decision...as many of us can testify and the DWP guy said we know how difficult it is (well some do others relish in dishing out the misery)Iv gone from SR for DLiving / Mobility to EH rate for both NEVER GIVE UP XX

Well done, and I am sure you are right, recording does make a difference. Frankly why else is it so unpopular with assessors???
Anyone tempted not to bother insisting plus doing own recording, please take note.
