Just had a review and i am so confused was created by davis
Before i start i am not blaming the assessor for anything he has not lied like some have before.
Just had a review i was on high care and low mobility in my mind a review is to see if somethings have gotten better or worst. I also thought that they would go by the last form you filled in which for me was a full PIP form with all the evidence that got me the awards in the first place.
I thought as i said nothing had changed i thought that was it. I was summoned to an assessment and i had someone come with me who knows what to do to calm me down anyhoo i got the letter a few days later they gave me full mobility and middle care here is where i am totally confused does that mean they think i have gotten better even with evidence proving other wise not only that they back dated the mobility award now i did not even realise i had deteriorated I gave exactly the evidence as before as with the rest i was not asked any questions about the care part he concentrated on my mobility what he did wads lump all the care into 3 assumptions the fact that i can drive which means i can grip and it means i can cook and bath myself i could talk to him even though i shouted at him when he asked when was the last time i had anxiety i shouted right now i don't know you and i don't know where i am and he said this which i don't understand
" I reduced your PIP from April 2023 as i would not expect you to know the information provided would effect your award"
There is so much more but what i need to know how does a renewal form work what are they looking for because everything i have read say that its just to look at you claim again to see if you are better or worst
so if they are looking at the claim again they are going by the original claim Oh i am so confused
can anyone explain i will be asking for the decision to be looked at again i just want to know this cuz i think i am thinking about this all wrong and i do not think i can go through another tribunal so will be treating the reconsideration like i am going to court with facts and more evidence

Hi Davis
Look at page 131 onwards of the guide to PIP claims and Reviews - to see how the DWP sometimes comes to its decision. benefitsandwork.co.uk/guides-for-claimants/pip
As Gary said on a previous post, you need your PA4 to help you put in for your MR. Just look at each point and argue why they were 'mistaken'. Put all your emphasis on where you think you should have scored points and where you didn't.
Driving is always a hard one to argue. Have a look at this post - it might help benefitsandwork.co.uk/kunena/10-dla-esa-...8543-pip-and-driving
