Hi adrian
Your first question; HOW long does it take after 29 days to get uc 50 forms
Answer: This can vary across the regions, I have come across claimants waiting over 18 months to receive the UC50 form, other claimants have received the form within 4 weeks.
second question; how long to return them ????
Answer: You have 4 weeks from the date of delivery not from when you received the form, remember you cannot contact DWP and ask for an extension as you can for PIP.
Third question: from uc50 forms to assetnment how long does it take is there back log like pip
Answer: It varies across regions, on the forum we are receiving mixed messages, yes there is a backlog like PIP, we have been told that DWP are concentrating on new claimants.

Yes, you can take your union rep if you want but this is not something that involves your union and you may not want them to hear details of your health issues.
You can only record the assessment without prior authority from the Assessment Provider unless the interview is a telephone one, where you can make a covert recording without notifying the assessor.
