ADAPTATIONS was created by Michael
Hi everybody. Me and my partner are both disabled I have severe copd and some other illnesses and my partner has restless leg syndrome and insomnia for which she is on medications. The problem we have is we are keeping each other up at night I am coughing and wheezing through the night and often will need to use my nebulizer which is very noisey which is all disturbing my partners sleep and she is disturbing mine with her restlees legs. I already have a £30,000 grant from the adaptations team because I had a wetroom fitted and some other things done. We live in a one bedroom bungalow and it has become very dificult to get any sleep for either of us so I was wondering would this be a reasonable reason for me to ask the adaptations team to have an extension fitted using my grant money. Thanks everybody for taking the time to read this.

Hi Michael

Your question is outside the remit of the forum, you need to seek advice from a organisation who deals with aids and adaptions, you may want to contact your local Age concern who may have details of a local agency.
