New Health conditions was created by Nikki-White
I finally managed to the standard daily living after having to go to tribunal near the end of 2022.

In the last month I have just be diagnosed with ADHD and still awaiting on the next steps on that and also sleep apnea and on the waiting list for a Cpap machine.

My award is till 2025 and I am terrified that I need to let DWP know of my new conditions in case it triggers a new renew as I just don’t have the energy to have to go though it all again.

I really don’t know what to do

Hi Nikki-White

Although the DWP asks people to inform them if there is a change in their medical condition, they are only really interested if a claimant's health has improved. For the DWP to consider a claimant's new conditions, the DWP want them to have had it for three months before informing them and a certainty that they will have it for at least nine months afterwards.

Plenty of claimants wait until their next review to inform the DWP of any new condition. It's a common practice - so you don't need to tell them anything at this stage. You are right to be cautious because you don't want to trigger a review.
