Hi, I put in a mandatory reconsideration a month a go with regards to the decision given. I haven't heard anything about this as yet. Today I received a new PIP claim form from DWP to be returned by 28th May saying thank you for telling us your needs have changed! I haven't said my needs have changed since the last review. Why have I been asked to fill out another form? Is this a new part of the appeals process now? Has anyone else had this? It is causing immense stress and don't think I have the strength left in me to deal with them anymore. I am still trying to recover from the assessment and appeals process. Any advice gratefully received. Thank you
I'm sorry this has happened, but you (or someone else, if there is anyone) need to try and ring them to find out why you have been sent the form. It may just be an admin error, but you don't want to find that your claim is suddenly closed if you don't return the form by the 28th.
