Hi, I retire in November on state pension only.
If I work on does this affect pension credit.
Also, do you get your pension every week if you work on. I have been told it’s not worth working on

Hi Souter
There are two types of pension credits, so you need to know which type you are talking about. Any income will affect GPC, if you are single GPC = £201.05, if your income goes above this figure then it will stop your GPC, there are additional elements that you may be eligible to claim to top up the basic GPC such as SDP £76.40 pw and Carer £42.75 pw.
As BIS has stated in her post, speak to a Welfare Rights Organisation.
