New Health Conditions ESA/UC was created by Anxious Anonymous
Okay, I’m really confused. I claim new style ESA and UC at the same time. There’s nothing to say you have to report new health conditions on UC but there is something that says new health condition in your journal on UC.

So what are the rules? Are we meant to report new health conditions? I have so many different labels now there’s a potential for an overlap somewhere.

I now have ADHD and suspected autism on top of the mental health problems I have mainly depression, anxiety, panic, agoraphobia and non epileptic seizures. I also have chronic pain and fatigue now too.

I’m very low and don’t want to get in trouble.

Hi AnxiousAnonymous

I know you are concerned, but both Gary and I have answered your question before, and I don't know what else to tell you. You're already in the support group, so informing the DWP of any additional conditions will not make any difference to your claim, which is why we both suggested you could leave it until your next review if you wanted. If you inform them, it may well trigger a review. The DWP wants to know when people's conditions are improving. They are not overly interested in people's medical conditions deteriorating, even though they say they are.

However, you can read what the rules are on the government website. www.understandinguniversalcredit.gov.uk/...to-universal-credit/
