Just received this text message, help was created by Gary
What does this mean? My personal pip was renewed for 10 years last January
I'm really worried
We need to talk to you about a recent PIP award and what this could mean for your ESA. Please call us straight away on 08001690310.

Hi Gary
I'm sorry, but I have no idea why you might have been sent that text. You or someone on your behalf needs to call to find out. The number is the one on the government website - but make sure you ring that number - don't use a link in the text message - that ensures if it's a fake message, you don't get caught out.

Thanks had help with the call and it's because the wife has received pip they wanted to assess the SDP, I'm not sure if this makes me now eligible or quite what it is?
But I also have a second question.
She was awarded csrw enhanced and motability low, yet she's housebound and the level of overwhelming physiological distress caused at the thought of having to leave the house means she should meet the criteria.
We don't yet know how many points she's been given, but can we ask for a MR on JUST the mobility? We have asked her doctor from the specalised mental health unit for an updated letter as her medication has been increased 50% since she was assessed.
We also recorded the call, do we save this for a potential teibuneral? Or tell them at MR stage?
Thanks

It is possible for you both to qualify for the SD Premium with the ESA claim.

If your wife is receiving Income Related ESA which I assume she is or they would not be looking at the SDP, then you are part of her household which means, providing you meet the criteria then an SD Premium can be paid as part of her ESA against your PIP.
Sorry I missed your second question, yes, you can request an MR of just the Mobility component but the DWP can still review the whole claim although it would be extremely unusual for them to do so.
