hello forum
I received a text message on 10th February telling me in short that DWP has received my PIP review form.
Then on May 8th 2023 I received another text from DWP which distressed me. It said “ we have your PIP review form and we will review it as soon as we can. Call us only to report change of circumstance. You may be called to attend an assessment from a health professional” - I don’t know what this whole message really means it makes me anxious though
When i filled in the form with the help of my support worker who also uses this website for guides we put in the request for paper assessment and I think the doctors letter backed it up and was sent as well with the form
I read from this benefits and work website that PIP reviews can take up to a few months to 18 months. Now my original award is to expire on 27th of November 2023 so what does it all mean? i read that some people sent their review back in august 2022 and still got a text message on the 8/05/23 to still wait. am are correct? does it appear that i will have to wait beyoond November 2023 and still cannot call them?
I am really confused. Please help

As BIS has stated in a previous post, if you are concerned about your claim or review, contact DWP to find out what is happening as there are long delays but remember, more than two million calls to the DWP’s Future Pensions Centre helpline were blocked from entering the call waiting queue between January and May 2023, soi if you cannot get throug the first time don't give up, keep trying.
