Dwp letter asking what my private pension will be

Hi
My wife usually gets a letter from DWP in May , asking what her private pension will be as this affects her contribution based ESA, she receives £288 per month from her private pension, so it won't affect her ESA payments.

As of today, 9th June 2023, she hasn't received one yet, has anyone else had a letter? It's just there's usually a deadline for sending the information

Thank you

Hi letterboxmum

It is not a question that I have seen raised on the forum, we have had quite a few enquiries from members who have not had a benefit increase letter.

If your wife knows what her annual private pension increase is, then she may want to contact DWP and let them know, if she does call, make a note of who she speaks to, date and time.

Hi i posted a while ago after calling the DWP re the letter that i had not received either, and they advised they are not sending them out now, but it is still the claimants responsibility to advise the DWP of their annual pension amount/increase.

Hope this helps
Best Wishes

I agree with you I never got a letter as not sending them out.
I do call them when I get the letter telling them about increase.
As someone else has already said, they knew about my increase.
