I received a letter from the DWP this morning after waiting 9 months for my review. I continue to be awarded enhanced rate for both Daily and Mobility.
However, this time there is no end date for the award stated, just the word " ongoing " what does this mean in reality?
For everyone's information the DM stated in his notes he had read my most recent ESA face to face assessment from last October which helped him decide along with my supplied evidence. I told the DWP PIP team 2 weeks ago about my ESA assessment via RelayUk so that conversation help.
I am really happy today and for the first time in months don't feel anxious over PIP. A total relief.
Many congratulations. I'm so pleased to hear your good news. And so glad you had an assessor that read "all" your paperwork including looking at your ESA assessment.
Although the DWP can contact a claimant for a review at any time, whatever the award someone has been given - an Ongoing PIP award means that you should not be contacted for 10 years.
