PIP MR and medical evidence was created by mrs doyle
I have just been told that new medical evidence will not be considered during the MR process,is this correct ? Thanks.

Hi Mrs Doyle
In my experience, this is a bit of a grey area. I've known them to look at additional evidence when a claimant said on their review form that they were waiting for test results of a long-standing problem or they were waiting for a letter from a medical professional that didn't arrive on time. But I have known them to refuse to consider things at the MR stage because they were not available at the assessment time.

Thats exactly it,I spoke to the case manager and he said if the info.was not available at the assessment time they couldnt accept it.

You need to show that even though the evidence is new it still applies to your conditions and limitations as they were when you assessed.
This may be condition dependent, so lifelong conditions may allow you to introduce the evidence as being relevant, it may be more difficult for newer ones.
