Thank you for replying , I am in the process of claiming DLA , for my daughter which I was advised to do so by her school. She hasn't been in school for nearly three years but still in the education system. We have built up enough supporting evidence from professionals to support the claim and diary accounts . It's now just a waiting game .
Yes this is true if my daughter is awarded DLA then the work element is removed . I spoke to job centre in one of their ritual calls today and she said that I would be a carer . This also applies for my husband as he has care needs through the night and help with some cloths and lifting . Having Muscular Dystrophy . All very stressful at moment . My work assessment is this Thursday and I have 14 pages I have planned , thankfully I kept diaries since 2020 and there was lots of information in them that I can use . Just hopefully the assessor will listen to me . Feel like im going to court!
