Hi, I have now received a message from UC to say I need to provide name, address, telephone number and date of birth of my carer, before I can be considered for the transitional element of SDP. I was originally told that I would automatically receive it.
My adult children share my care between them and feel this request is a bit intrusive.
Is information obligatory?
Many thanks

Hi B3lla,

You have a right to ask why they are demanding that information. You can do that via your UC Journal ( if account set up ).

I sent them a message regarding their information request, but, 2 days later, they haven't responded

B3lla,

I would send your message again on the UC Jourrnal and from the drop down list choose to send it to both Payment and Service Issue.

I did send another message earlier this morning.
Just to confirm. Am I required to give them my carers information in order to receive the protected SDP?
Many thanks David
