UC Migration from Income support was created by jack2121
Hello, my wife and I received a migration letter each a few months ago. The letters state we need to move to UC from Income support. My wife is currently in receipt of PIP – HRC / LRM, & EAS Support group – Contributions based. I am in receipt of Carers allowance & Income support.
Will be filling in the UC Claim form soon, given that the Migration letters only state INCOME SUPPORT to UC I would expect there will be no Health-related Questions to answer.
Am I right to assume this? Any advice welcomed.
Manty thanks.

Hi jack2121,

The DWP have admitted that getting the questions correct on UC Managed Migration is still " work in progress".
So you may well be asked health related questions as they try to allocate you a Conditionality Group based on your ability to work. Though you will not be asked to attend a medical as part of the Managed Migration.
If you have any worries I would advise you to phone the Help to Claim number given in page 2 of your Migration letter.
