Hi I a brutal PIP telephone review I posted about it on Monday. I phoned the DWP and asked for their report. Will that report show their recommendation for me to stay on what I’m on or be downgraded? or is that upto the DWP. Sorry if that sounds like a stupid question 😫 thank you.
Hi JLP, No question is stupid. It's clearly something you are worried about so no problem at all asking! Normally the report shows proposed scores, and reasoning why. Hence it is highly likely it would inform you of the probable outcome. Weirdly, DWP don't have to follow the opinion of the assessor although that is what happens in the vast majority of cases.
