PIP02 Scanned form was created by Swan23
We have received our 44 page PIP02 form from the DWP ("How your Disabilty affect you").
Ordinarily, we scan any forms that need to be filled in, so that we can type our reply and keep a permanent record for ourselves.
Does anybody know if this is an acceptable approach as far as the DWP are concerned ?
I've noticed that there is a QR code printed on many pages.
many thanks

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi nvbell,
The QR codes must've been put on at a later time as to when I had my first assessment, so I'm not overly sure about this, because of how easy fraud can be. I've approved your post, and hopefully someone with recent experience of this can answer your question.
Chris.

Hi, I am the original poster of this question.
We duly progressed and used the scanned forms, complete with what I assume are individualised QR codes.
We duly edited and submitted them, and our claim was processed as normal.
At the end of our telephone assessment with Capita, I asked if many claimants submitted scanned forms, with typed content, and the lady replied that not that many do, and she wished it was more.
Our conclusion therefore, is that this is an acceptable practice.
I hope that this is useful information for fellow claimants considering this approach.
