Hi All,

Regarding the Benefits and Work Christmas Break 2024 closing on the evening of Friday, 20 December, until the afternoon of Wednesday, 15 January

Could you tell us, is it just the forum part of the B & W website that will be affected by this Christmas Break please?

Will it just be that new forum posts won’t be able to be posted or existing posts replied to during the Christmas Break? Will existing historical forum posts still be able to be accessed to read only? Could you clarify this position please?

Will this break period only affect the forum and will other content on the Benefits and Work website still all be fully accessible, such as guides and downloadable content please?

I have also just paid for a PIP training course package on the B & W website. I am hoping I will be able to access this during the Christmas Break when I have time off work to go through it? Could you clarify if this or any other parts of the Benefits and work website will not be accessible over the Christmas Break period please?

I am looking to complete an online PIP claim form (for my female partner) that needs to be returned to DWP by 02/01/2025. This will be her first application (not a renewal) for PIP. I have time off work over Christmas and was hopping to use this time to research the B & W website and its forum to assist me in completing the PIP application for her.

If you could kindly clarify the points raised above regarding the Christmas Break forum and website access please?

Kind Regards

RHJ

Hi RHJ

It's only the forum that closes down - ie - no one can post any questions. You should be able to access everything else.
