Verifying your ID Online and UC50 form

Hello,
Received my UC migration letter this month. I receive income based ESA and am in the support group. I have until February 21 to migrate.
I am going to leave it until the beginning of Feb to speak to CAB, so I can get some help when I start my registration and online claim, and to do a benefit calculation.
Reading the guides I would just like to clarify if I will have a job centre appointment if I have photo ID? I have an up to date driving licence and passport I can use.
I did not see an ID section on the screen shots in the Google document for verifying your ID online. Is it something done after you make your claim?
Is the UC50 form the same as the ESA50 - same questions, different name?
Is the guide the same for this? I would like to start going back over this next year.
Many Thanks

Hi Oni,

I believe the UC50 is the same as the ESA50, however I've only had experience with the UC50 form - so this is guesswork, but I can't see anything other than a different name occuring.

For your ID, they usually send a message in your online journal asking you to submit your evidence by uploading via a link they supply - this is what they done for me. You can upload 10 different things at a time, so if you need more, then ask via a journal message. I needed 7 links for 76 documents I had to provide in July.
