It states in a Benefits and Work guide: “a move to a different local authority would trigger a UC claim” Who would trigger it ? And how would it be triggered ?
The answer is you would trigger it as you would need to get housing costs for the rent and there are no new claims for Housing Benefit in those circumstances. So you would be obliged to make a new claim for UC.
