Legacy benefits and LPA was created by Sidhu123
Hi, if someone is on Legacy benefits and pip, can they still be named on a
Lasting Power Of Attorney as an Attorney to mange the other persons decision if needed? It’s for elderly relative who has no one and I’m on benefits but she wants me to be put down and take out a LPA and nominate me. Would this affect my benefits in any way ? No gain would be made in any way. Please advise.

Hi Sidhu123,

From what you have described there should not be any issues. Have a look at the guidance on LPAs.
