I am in the LCWRA group and get both elements of PIP at the higher rate.
I am considering returning to study at university and I’m aware that I can get UC alongside my studies. However, if I get a WCA during my studies and lose the LCWRA status, do I then lose the ability to claim alongside full-time studies? Will a WCA happen if I am in full-time study?
Don’t know if it’s relevant, but I have bipolar disorder (had it for 30 years) and PTSD. I’m currently under the care of a consultant.
In case no one can answer this question, can anyone recommend a good welfare rights advisor with expertise in this area? Thanks
If you are found fit for full time work at a WCA then you will have to look for work and that in most cases precludes full time study apart from some courses such as Open University.
