Nearing pension age UC Migration

Hi David

Thank you for updating me with the rule changes, not the news I wanted to hear.

I just can not see any sense and it will not be in my wellbeing to now have to claim for 3 major benefits in the space of 6 months UC, State Pension and Pension Credit.

I'm beginning to think this Government is inhumane.

Thank you David for sourcing that information even though it is disappointing.
As you are invited to claim your State Pension 4 months prior to actually receiving it, I presume its possible to receive a migration notice around the same time you have already applied for your pension!
Also as someone that claims Housing Benefit seems I will have to reapply within possibly a matter of months.
I don't understand the logic but there you go, I like everyone else in a similar position will just have to deal with it as best I can.
