universal credit and part time degree

hello does anybody have any experience of doing a part time degree whilst on universal credit and unable to work?

do they take out any maintenance loan you receive and do they reassess you if you are studying only part time?

Not sure that this is any help. I did a part-time fine art degree while signed off on what was "sickness benefit" I was also old style income support and D.L.A. That was quite a while back. I graduated in 2010. I did the part time degree over 6 years (had great fun). I received all the student finance grants etc from the university and from the local authority. Because I did it over 6 years it did not affect my DWP benefits at all.
That was a long time ago though and I am sorry but have no idea what the rules are now.
