Hi Blissfulblues

As your issue has still not been resolved and it appears you are being moved from pillar to post I would email a complaint to the DWP Area Manager. If you let me know your Country or City of residence I can find the person responsible.

Hi David, thank you for the response. I'm in Scotland. I actually emailed one of the other members of CAB and they called today and are going to escalate to a case manager on my behalf. The previous person from CAB had stopped responding to emails over a month ago and the Welfare Rights person has also not been responding to my emails. So I had been feeling abandoned. And nothing was being done on my case and felt very alone. I hope now we can get a response at least since Welfare Rights didn't seem to want to escalate or push for answers from UC.

Hi David CAB called me back and are saying the DWP case manager is still saying no. That ESA closed my claim because I moved in with my partner and I lost my support group status and any right to lcw or lcwra on UC because of that. Even with my NI credits restored there saying I have to go through a WCA. CAB are now telling me I have to do a WCA. I'm so confused about everything I keep getting told different things from different people. What should I do?

Hi Blissfulblues

You will have to complete the UC50 and follow the process. You will need assistance from your local Citizens Advice to challenge the DWP and take them to a Tribunal. We can give general advice regarding the Tribunal when the time comes.
