UC Journal? was created by KB
Hello
When my son completed the online form to set up a UC account, the form (or was it the second form, an application?) the forms did not allow him to say that he lives with us, his parents.
The form only wanted to know if he lived with a partner. He doesn't live with a partner, he is single, no children involved.
He has always lived at home with us.
He couldn't progress through the form until he agreed, I think it might have just said something like, 'does not live with a partner' which is correct, but we don't want UC to think that he lives alone and independently.
How/when/where will he be able to tell them that he lives with us?
He has received a message, in what I'm assuming is his journal - to say there is nothing in his To Do List.
There is no change, he has always lived at home with us and relies on us for constant care and support.
How/when/where do we mention Regulation 19 etc?
There isn't a text box, as far as we can make out, where we can type more info??
Thank you so much for your help in understanding the process.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi KB,
There should be an option saying "Make a journal entry" and then add a journal entry which should allow you to send a message to your workcoach. I do believe though it works slightly different if you're in the LCWRA group, and it goes to a manager as there's no work coach in that group. You could always ring them also to ask one of the advisors to add it onto the system.
Chris.
