I received a text from Capita yesterday “reminding” me of my PIP review telephone assessment on 25/02/25 but I’m confused as I’ve not received a letter from Capita or any paperwork. I thought I had to be given a minimum of 7 days for a telephone assessment appointment? I’ve been waiting for my review for over 13 months now from when I first returned my PIP review form with supportive evidence. I’ve never had a PIP review before and I’m wondering if there are any guides on this website which I can read prior to my telephone assessment next Tuesday? I suffer with severe anxiety and depression, as well as a few other disabilities, and I’m now completely stressed and excessively worrying about my assessment and whether the assessor will ask me “trick” questions. Since my original PIP award I’ve now been diagnosed with two further conditions which I did include in my PIP review form so will my assessment be based on these new conditions or should I mention everything to the assessor and work on the basis that they will not have read my original application nor my review forms?
