Hi diceman,
Best to read the PIP/UC tab above - other than that, I think the website will be updated, and a newsletter, after the budget on 26th March.
Chris.

The proposal means that you need to score at least 4 points in one of the activities in the Daily Living category. You'll still need to score 8 or more overall for standard rate and 12 or more overall for the enhanced rate.
For example, if you scored 4 points in "Preparing Food" and 2 points in "washing and Bathing" and 2 points in "Dressing and Undressing" then you'd be awarded the standard rate for Daily Living as you've got 8 points overall, including 4 points in at least one category.
However, if you scored 2 points in "Preparing Food", 2 points in "washing and Bathing", 2 points in "Dressing and Undressing" and 2 points in "Making Budgeting Decisions" then you wouldn't be awarded anything in Daily Living as although you've got 8 points, you didn't get at least 4 points in one of the categories.
You could score 2 points in all categories for a total of 20 but as you didn't get at least 4 points in one category you wouldn't be awarded anything.
It doesn't affect the Mobility Activities section.
