Do UC payments go in any time up to 8pm on payment days?

I am not sure and there maybe variations in timing with individual banks or Building Societies.

Hi Kelly,

I've had several payments of UC over the last few months and I've always been paid well before that time on each occasion, always in the morning in my case.

I assume they say 'up to 8pm' mainly to allow some contingency in case something goes wrong with their systems or there's a delay for some other reason.
