Hi, I got a pip award this week, and was hoping for an ongoing award as I have lifelong conditions that can't ever improve and I did send lots of evidence and I even asked for an ongoing award because of this. I got 4 years, but elsewhere in the letter, it says that they will review it after 2 years as things may improve (I mean really? for who?). What does that mean exactly? I'm going to do a MR, and if no luck an appeal, but I wanted to ask about this before I do.
I've never heard of this before - but my thought are that they will give you a 4 year award as stated, but may send you the forms within 2 years to complete again, and then re-assess you within that 2 year time period that's left.
That's all I can think of, but I've approved your post, and maybe's someone who's experienced this can advise what actually happens.
Chris.
