UC review phone call. was created by Onyx123
Is it normal procedure as a part of the UC review to get a phone call. And if anybody else has had a UC review phone call what can I expect in questions.

Hi onyx,
It is normal - More or less they mention about your income, what ID you need to provide, bank statements. I have a review every year and it's basically to determine that I am getting the correct amount of UC that I am entitled too.
Chris.

Hi Chris, We have supplied everything they have asked for. Uploaded plenty of ID as asked for, bank statements and every savings account statements. After a heads up on the questions they will ask. This might be a repeat post because it said wait 60 second to post flood protection. But the post might have gone through.

Hi Onyx,
Received and read your response. Just be honest with them, and you'll find it goes smooth. I got caught out a few years back without realising. I have a Help2Save account, and I honestly assumed they would know about it because it's a DWP account, so I didn't think to declare it, and when I didn't and they checked my bank statements, I explained what it was, and said "Hold on, you're telling me that I need to tell the DWP that I have an account with the DWP?" and they said "Yes". I said "That's nuts" - It's like telling your landlord how much rent you pay. I ended up with a £50 fine because of this.
