Follow up Call? was created by JustMe
Hi All! I’m new here, thanks for having me.

I’ve been in receipt of PIP for about 5 years now. Started off on the enhanced rate for everything based on my CPTSD & Agoraphobia. Then it was dropped down to the standard rate for everything after I’d started therapy and was making good progress.

Things over the last 18 months have gone downhill again plus I’ve now been diagnosed with a chronic stomach condition called ‘Bile Acid Malabsorption’.

Upon my request I had a PIP telephone consultation on 4th March. I’ve been ringing up every 10 days or so since to see if my PA4 Form is ready (I saw a man on TikTok talking about it) & it’s still not been ready. The advice of the people I’ve spoken to at PIP each time was to ‘sit tight and wait, as they may be trying to get evidence from my consultants’.

I’ve now had 3 missed calls this morning from 08002600700 and I feel really panicked by it. I’ve tried calling it back and it just says that they will call me again if they need to speak to me.

I’m not sure why after a month they could be ringing me and it’s making me really anxious. Obviously I plan on answering next time they call. But I’m just a bit up the wall.

Thanks

Hi JustMe

Welcome to the forum.

You might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is; www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/guides-for-claimants/faq/forum.

You usually can get hold of your assessors report 48 hrs after your assessment. which is sent to the decision maker.

We can only guess that the decision maker may have a question.
