Going on holiday abroad whilst on UC

I hope everyone is keeping well. Many thanks for the staff running this website which has brought me success with my PIP and ESA.

Anyway myself and my wife have migrated to UC. I am on LCWRA and my wife is my carer. She is a dinner supervisor working over an hour daily and sometimes overtime. We are planning to go on holiday abroad for 10 days.

I would like to know whether we are supposed to notify UC that I we're going on holiday abroad.

Going through the different posts regarding going abroad, it seems members have different responses because probably everyone's situation is individual.

Your advice will be much appreciated.

There lots of comment saying you have to inform UC when going abroad on journal message on their facebook under A1 ESA/UC/DLA/PIP Benefit Help and Support UK ONLY

Hello I was switched to UC from ESA Support Group recently and my Claimant Agreement says I should let UC know if I was going abroad for any reason. You are allowed a holiday of course (up to 28 days usually) but you must let them know. Receipt of UC is conditional on residing in the UK and complying with the regulations.
Best to jot a quick note in your Journal to let them know. What have you got to lose??

I think you should let them know via your online journal. UC says to let them know, please don't get caught out.
