ESA support group to UC payments was created by john
Hi All,
I was migrated from ESA contrib [support group] to UC. My first payment has had £14.88 deducted for "Benefit you were not entitled to" [ESA]
I am too run down by it all to even challenge it, but how could this be. I have not had anything i am not entitled to..
john.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi xxxxxx
With ESA people have different payment cycles. So I expect you were paid before you submitted your UC claim but it overlapped by a couple of days. Hence the over payment.
Maybe other members can share their experiences.

Hi there,
I made the claim on a payment day, so i thought there would be no "odd" periods or anything??
I have no idea as £14.88 is not a sub multiple of anything i can think of..
