There is a lot of uncertainty about the proposed PIP changes, but given that several Labour MPs are threatening to vote against the Bill, it is likely to be changed. Hence it is still not at all clear who will be affected or how. It already seems that achieving anything above 2 points for an aid/appliance is really difficult, even when profound disability is present - this is a trend that started years ago, so I suspect this might continue. However, what will actually happen to the law is totally unclear, and at present it's just a waiting game.
Of course as soon as anything concrete is published we'll let you all know....
