Passport data

Hi due to prove I’d at jobcentre next week do they check travel data as I had a week away in may if so should I just take other I’d instead I am ill with worry about this someone said thy don’t check travel data and stamps on passport but some say they definitely check travel data history that’s why they ask if you’ve been abroad in last 2 years wish I hadn’t gone but it was a gift from my son as was very poorly needed a break please any help in this will be appreciated thank you
